: This is an AWESOME idea. I wish that I could buy an arcade and do that here. Just a little problem with the $$ thing if ya know what I mean. I think that if you do this, more of the customers to the arcade would be our age, (i.e. in there mid to late 20's and 30's) I don't think that the kids of today are interested in the old games when they can pay $1.00 to play one of the new ones and get their a** kicked in 30 seconds. I would LOVE to see an arcade go this route. All the arcades around here don't have ANY of the classics in them. That's the motivation for me to build my mame cabinet. :) Anyway, the ones that I would like to see in the arcade are ones like Asteroids, Defender, Missle Command, 1942, Centipede, Dig Dug, Robotron, Galaga, Pacman, Ms Pacman, Donkey Kong, Crazy Climber, Frogger, Tron, Spy hunter, Magmax, Berzerk, Ikari Warriors, Elevator Action, Gauntlet, Double Dragon, Heavy Barrel, Jungle Hunt, Kangaroo, Popeye, Marble Madness, Guzzler, Tempest, and Zookeeper. I'm kinda partial to these since I grew up with these. :) Anyway, that's my $.02. I'd deffinately spend a lot of time in your arcade if you had these in there. :) When are ya going to open? :)

: Game on!! Brian

Thanks for the reply, and we are open RIGHT NOW!! This arcade has been here for quite some time, over 18 years I believe, it used to be owned and managed by Bally Corp. if that gives you any idea. I have a good selection of new games that are producing well, but even more games that in my opinion are wasting electricity. I am going to post a list of the games here shortly so everyone can see what I have currently and the ones that are on the short list to hit the road.

Rodney
