Take a look at http://www.arcadecontrols.com/images/HappTrackball.jpg and notice that the arrow points up, towards the monitor. If you mount it that way, it looks diagonal. Also take a look at http://www.arcadecontrols.com/images/KE72_Trackball3.JPG. That's actually how it's supposed to mount.
