Whopse :)

I didnt realize you were ordering peddles. I was going to make them from scratch. You may be able to rig a setup if the sizes are different, but maybe not...

If not, check the pots ohms level. Im guessing they are about the same as pc joysticks, but if not... well, I dont have the answer (sorry :)...

A few suggestions...

1) I know that wally world had tons of info on wiring up pots. see if you can find it... or a simular page. If you have the Pin outs, you could skip the joystick hack all2gether.

2) look thru your local electronic store for a simular size pot that carries the same ohm level as the ones in your joystick

3) hack the happ peddel! heheh If the gears dont reach, you could Drill another hole on the assembly to remount the pot where it would. Make sure that the pot dosnt 'over turn'. If the pot turns further that its supposed to, it will kill it!
(a different size gear may be needed, check local craft shop)

4) test a single pot hooked up to the guts of the joy. Worst comes to worst, and it could ruin the joy. Big deal. (if its a cheapie :) I doubt it would cause any problem w/ your computer. And if if frys the pot... (doubt it, most likly, the current wont be strong enough)...well, it shouldnt be too hard to get a replacment one.
(PS: Dont hpld me responsible if you try this! :)

5) Build your own peddle sets :)
heheh

Good Luck!!!

Sorry I couldnt be of more assistence! :)
