->Hi and thanks!

: Very cool!

: Your design and philosophy appears to be very similar to mine. I had a lot of the same goals, but mine is a Donkey Kong cabinet. To the untrained eye, it just looks like Donkey Kong -- much like yours appears to be a Galaxian.

->Do you have a webpage? I would very much like to see your cab :-)

You managed to get a LOT of controls into a small area. I like the layout. I don't like some of these enormous panels with two trackballs, 2 spinners, 5 joysticks, and 48 buttons.

->The layout may seem a bit weird. But I am left handed. I play with the right joystick and the buttons left to it. On two player games the other player plays also like that...but in the arcades I had to adjust...revenge!

->Together the buttons function very well for games like asteroids.

The simple, elegant design you've incorporated is more true to the classics in my opinion.

->Yeah! That was my goal as well. I wanted to have the controls that I wanted but without loosing the classic feel. See also the cp overlay...

I also, have a Wingman Warrior spinner, but I have not figured out how I want to mount it yet. Are you happy with your solution?

->I am more than happy with this solution. I got the ww very chreap on ebay. And they are in my opinion great spinners. I playes a Tempest some time ago and thought the control with my ww was better then the original!
Mounting it was pretty easy. As you can se on the picture on the webpage I have a metal panel so the dept was no problem. I just cutout the spinner with the scre wsockets intact. With some brackets and the original screws I mounted it to the panel. Perfect fit.
I can make more detailed pics if you want...
