Hey Geezer :)

What you said about 'one axis' to control the brake and gas are what most games use.

I have seen a diagram of a guy who built a peddle set using two pots. Each pot has 3 prongs on it. Depending on which end you wire it to, effects the way it is read. He wired the two seperate pots together in such a way that it acted as one single pot - in the way mentioned. I will see if i can find the link... It was called 'wallys world' I believe.

Anyway, about the games... Spy Hunter is one of the few games that use the 'press 4ward for gas' and 'back 4brake' setup. At first, I was pretty Bent cause I didnt (and still do not :( have a wheel setup (soon 2 change :)... and it made it impossible to control the darn thing :(

I think a switch is in order. Maybe a way that can enable which type of control setup that you desire to use for each 'special game'.

There really arnt too many games that need this feature, so it shouldnt be too hard to impliment... as you have already done so :) woohoo!!! ... but for the mame team to accept it into the system, a switchable system may help.

Can it be done?

Im dying to play supersprint and outrun in thier original modes!!! Cant wait!!! :) Now I Just have to build that wheel and peddle set asap!!! :) :) :)

PS: I may have figured out a way to make a
'Disk of Tron' spinner - The original pull up style! (controls vertical movement as well as the horizontal) I will look for the parts over the weekend... and will know more soon! :)

Geezer, You are a God!!!
Thanks man!
:)
