I'm very much in agreement with Druin on this topic. Sure, while the hot new games are probably Crazy Taxi and that Dance game, they lack something by way of simple addiction. like a cigarette, it ain't hard to light and you always want more... my votes, for classic gaming and also money making are:(sorry druin if i have to disagree with a couple of yours)
-Ms PacMan (i have one in my basement)
-Centipede (this one too)
-Arkanoid (yup, this one too)
-Bomb Jack
-Dig Dug
-Galaga
-Super OffRoad (ESPECIALLY if there's beer nearby)
-a Neo Geo 4-slot with a few cool games [nowadays Metal Slug X and Samurai Shodown part eleventeen probably do well]
-1942
-House o' the Dead
-Tekken 3 or the new one
and for the stubborn 'i am the video game master' type, throw in Sinistar to quickly humble them.
