Well I in fact DO play NeorageX with the U3100, and it looks AWESOME, it gives better crisp detail than even a 31" tv, where all you are gaining is size, not sprite clarity, tv out cards cant make a tv and rgb monitor, and YES Virgina, TVs ARE inferior to RGB arcade monitors, they are more expensive too, but ya get what ya pay for. I play 90s emus all the time too, genesis, snes, and Amiga look particularly kick ass. I am reminded od an article in EGM (electronic Gaming Monthly to you newbies!) several years ago, in the 16 bit wars, where they proved an RGB monitor was superior to any TV for any video games, they had a shot of Batman Returns for the Genesis running on a TV, and an RGB monitor, the TV looked pretty nice, but the RGB monitor looked MUCH better, you could read the street signs in the background clearly, and yet still have an arcade feel. If you want big, go big, but I recently had the choice to get a new TV, a 31" Sony, or a 55" projection, sure the projection was BIG, but get close, and it looks like SHit! HUGE spaces in pixels. So my point is if you want big at the expence of quality knock youself out.

: Hey, lay off this guy! I personally don't play the "classic" games, and all games within the last 10+ years have used larger than 19" monitors - computer, or arcade!
: Just because you are stuck solely in the 80's doesn't mean that everyone is. It is a matter of the effect that you are going for.

: I checked out the RCA TV too when I made my second cabinet. It was pretty good. My first cabinet has a U3100 in it, and it does work with the "classics" very well, but when I want to play Metal Slug, the bigger TV screen adds to the feel. plus, the whole screen is moving, unlike the maze in pacman or the scenes in donkey kong, so any bleeding is not noticable. I have not detected any noticable artifacts at all. Before you get on your "preserve the 80's" kick, realize that some of us also want to preserve the 90's and beyond in which bigger screens were used.

:
: : What stupidity, HELLO! Most CLASSIC arcade games ran 19" monitors. And your friend who dumped his 19" arcade monitor probably used a hacked RGB arcade monitor from some 20 year old cabinet. I am talking abotu a NEW wells gardner U3100 RGB arcade monitor with VGA cable already attatched and special vga circuits to work with windows. TV out is lame! It has color bleeding, and artifacts all around small sprites. These games were MADE to be played on a real arcade monitor, if you want to play playstation, use a tv, if you want to have a 100% accurate arcade feel, go for an arcade monitor.
