What version of Mame are you using? If it is 37b8
I think there have been a change in the way Mame
uses the memory I'm not sure. All the games were
working fine until I loaded 37b8 then some of the
games get to the OK screen and after that it would
put up a page fault and go back to AOS with an error. I have reloaded 37b7 and all the games work fine.

: Hi everyone. I'm curious if anyone can help me out on this. I have an arcade cabinet that I have wired a computer up to. It's using a legit arcade monitor, and a HotRodSE. The computer is a PII 400 with 128megs of RAM. It's got an 8Meg Vanta card on it. The thing works great for the most part. The problem I am having now is that I want/need to stay in pure DOS mode for maximum results. However, some of the games in MAME such as Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade, etc are causing Page Faults. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I was always under the impression that the page faults were caused by not having enough memory, but 128MB should be enough, right? Keep in mind this happens in Pure DOS only and not in DOS under a Win98SE session. Thanks in advance!
