Maybe a rotated 4-way joy is a luxury, but if you're gonna do it, there's at least one non-MAME Q-Bert game that's worth installing (IMHO),
the SNES game Q-Bert 3. As far as I know, no SNES emulators have the option to block the UDLR directions on the control pad.
Q-Bert 3 was designed to be played with the controller held diagonally-which still messed me up if I forgot which way diagonally I was holding it. A 4-way stick would have been better.
