Hmmm. 2 1/2" seems so small. But if that's the size used in Centipede then that's what I want. You sure about that?

: They are too heavy, and you cant change direction fast enough.

: Most classics like centipede, use the 2 1/2 trackball. They also spin a lot faster than the larger ones, as the bearings have less surface area, weight, and overall friction.

: Also note the position of the bearings on the larger trackballs... they are more twords the sides instead of near the bottom. This adds more weight on the bearings - thus more friction... resulting in less 'free spin'.

: Bigger is not really better in this area.
