: First I'd like to say, this place is great. I like being able to share ideas and get opinions, and that kames this the best hobby I know of.

: The scan converter: the MultiPro 2000, is in a word, Awesome! I have a Proscan 20" TV with S-Video input, and the quality was tops. For those of you who want to dedicate a PC toa cabinet, and do nothing but play games, it is, in my opinion the best solution I haved come up with for the price. $300 for the TV, $159 for the Scan converter.

: I played, Pac-Man, Galaga, Marble Madness, Pong, Tempest (not bad, by the way) and Need for Speed III (PC Title), and Virtual Game Station, playing Spiderman. With excellent results. No more PC Monitor Jaggies, real arcade monitor look and feel, and bright colors. I even put in a DVD (Dark Crystal) and it was perfection.

: The key is it works with anything, DOS/Windows/OS2 anything. There is NO software, and a 800x600 SVGA screen fits perfectly end to end on the screen. I am going to buy an RCA 25" with svideo input for about $300 and mount it in my cabinet, permanently.

: I have a Fujitsu MX1200 1.3 gigapixel digital camera, and can take pictures of screens for you all if you like. I need someone to host them for me, butgive me an idea of which screens you'd like me to post. Pick some random games, and I'll get them up here.

: It's a $470 alternative to a $1000+ large monitor.

: Later, folks!
