I've never used one, but you can find more info in
the 'controls' section under 'trackballs'

: I'm not big-time into the trackball games, and it dawned on me as I considered adding the $50 encoder and $50 (I think) joysticks from Happs that, well, I just wouldn't get the use out of them....

: So I began to consider other trackball options that might just run directly into the serial port and/or mouseport and be supported directly under windows/DOS.

: Tell me, do such beasts exist? I know there are TONS of "thumb marble" trackballs out there today, but can you still get the larger-sized trackballs as well, that won't require me to purchase an encoder and so forth?

: Admittedly besides Missile Command and maybe centipede, I can't think of other trackball games I'd have to have it for where a joystick wouldn't sub.

: The Spinner, however, is another story.....
