looks like the "whats this?" is your transformer. video games work on an isolation transformer instead of having a hot and ground wire straight from the wall. You should check out bob roberts page for some very good info. Since you know the make of your monitor, you have fought half the battle. You should check RGVAC for schematics and threads on how other people set up their monitor. You can also buy manuals from Bob Roberts for about $8. Honestly, this may be the wrong forum to ask as there are more people actually using this monitor in RGVAC. You might find your answers there and then come back here for info on mameing your cabinet.
