My point wasn't that new people finding the hobby is harmfull. That would be ridiculous, the distinction is between them (the sensible people who just wish to learn something), and the ones who'll start flooding the board with typical "I want something for nothing"-like posts.
And for the record, you know not how long I have been lurking :-)
