Are you using arcade modes or standard vga modes? This only works with arcade modes and NTSC modes. It works for me.... I set it in arcadeOS and it passes it to MAME. Don't know why it wouldn't work for you.

: I've tried both of these on my U3100 with no luck... keep us posted if anyone gets any results.

: : Try -centerx This is from the mame readme.txt file.

: : -centerx N and -centery N
: : each take a signed value (-8 to 8 for centerx, -16 to 16 for
: : centery) and let you shift the low scanrate modes (monitor=ntsc,
: : pal,arcade) around.

: : This should work.

: : : Hey all,

: : : I know that some games are off-center in MAME (for example, Defender is too far up and to the right). I've tried to use -skiplines and -skipcolumns, but that had no effect at all. The readme also says that use can use PGUP and PGDN to adjust the panning, but that doesn't work either! What am I doing wrong! Thanks!
