What are the downside of using a TV as your cabinet moniter ?

I was going to use a TV for my cabinet monitor.
So I was wondering what the downsides of this are ?
As I want to make the most informed choice.

And does anyone know if Happs controls has a distributer in australia. And if so does anyone have the contact details ?
