Uhm... MAME under DOS only uses the 2D functions of your card. There is absolutely no reason to go out and waste your money on a high end 3D card for use with 2D stuff under DOS. The only advantage I can see to a Voodoo 3 is the support that has been written for fixed-frequency stuff.
