You are saying that you get full speed on your 700MHZ (overclocked) PC for StunRunner?

I have a 700MHZ running DOS, 128MB ram and get <30 FPS. Never would I have guessed that the vid card makes that much of a difference since the emulator is CPU intensive.
: : I'm using the Voodoo5 5500 in DOS using Mon-ARC and I believe it's the fastest most compatible combination out there for arcade monitors. I can't see the 6000 being much faster for any

: Except for PC games. Midtown Madness 2 and Nascar 4 should benefit from the fact that there are 4 not 2 processors (1.67gigapixels). Also that it sports 128MB of SDRAM onboard seemed like a treat as well.

: games. The bottleneck seems to be raw CPU power than video performance. Most games run at full speed except some of the newer games.

: Well, all my games run at full speed (Even STUN Runner if you can imagine that) with my Voodoo 3 3000, with only 16 MB of RAM. It may be because I am running a PIII 700MHZ, overclocked to 850, with 256MB of system RAM. It's one of those FC-PGA chipsets which I found out yesterday (from here) that I could overclock, so I did. Added a second fan, and I keep the case cover off the PC and have a fan in the Cabinet as well, blowing out a self-made vent.

: BTW, did the MAME team fine-tune the STUN Runner code since their announcement it would only work on a 2GHZ system???
