Now I have a picture but it's just a red, green blue screen any suggestions?

: If you have everything wired up correctly, try turning the brightness up on the monitor. When I first tried my JAMMA harness, I got just a black screen (as opposed to while flashing lines when the monitor is on but with no signals) but didn't see anything until I turned up the brightness...even though the monitor worked fine with a real arcade pcb.

: : I have an arcade monitor that I purchased new. I have it hooked up and when I plug it in it powers up ok but I'm not getting any type of picture. If anyone has any suggestions as to why I'd appreciate it. Could I have the vga cable I made wired incorrctly? Should I get something on the screen besides the blackness anyway? I know it has power I can see it from behind and when you unplug it the screen flashes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
