Here's an idea. It seems to me you are not planning on using it for much else. An inexpensive small color tv would probably do it. With converter hardware like AITech's MultiPro 2000 (VGA to TV converter) for $185, and a cheap color TV 5" or 9" you should be able to get the desired result. Using ArcadeOS from what I've heard here should make the interface a snap.

It's an idea.

: I am want to build a very small mini arcade cabinet that will sit on the table. I only want it to play the early 80's vertical games like space invaders, galaga, pacman ect.

: I have an old pentium 166 that I will use to run it, but I currently have no monitor. I was considering buying a cheap 14" monitor of ebay, but this would make the cabinet far bigger than I wanted.
