If you look at the back of the monitor, maybe on the monitor board(thats where mine is)There is usually a decal of some sort listing the manufacturer and serial #'s.
My vertical and horizontals were way off when
I first hooked up my monitor also.I don't know about your monitor, but mine has a little board w/ H hold,V hold, a knob to center the screen, brightness,contrast, and one other.I just adjusted the H hold or V hold knob until the picture was stable.As
for the color, on the back of the monitor should be a mounted board w/ R-G-B color adjustment knobs, but If your monitor's color worked before you tried to hook it up, it should still be fine.I would just make sure you made the correct connections from the PC to the monitor.Be careful w/ the monitor, as there is alot of stored electricity in there.Hope this helps some.
