The information quoted was from my previous post. The stuff snipped above was from the post and refers to Shift Key functions. These allow you to press the 1P and 2P buttons together to simulate ESC, for example. My point at the time was that since MAME R36B13 allowed key combinations for inputs, this was no longer required. That is not entirely true, but if you're considering the I-PAC anyway, it doesn't matter as the shift functions work great in the I-PAC.

Personally, I have never used the I-PAC, but numerous people have recommended it highly. I have seen someone on this message board order one and had a problem with how it would work for MAME32, and Andy (Warne) changed the code on his board before it shipped to accomodate him. Andy has also helped me out tremendously with my keyboard hack efforts, even though to some extent, this hurts his sales. He's the type of person that you almost feel bad NOT buying from because of the level of support he provides.
