I would use the Live! Mine works great.
I find it odd people are saying their Live didn't come with DOS drivers. This is odd as I have bought three of them and they all came with DOS software. The first one I bought back in Oct-Nov of last year and the other two I bought this summer. One was a Platinum and the other two were X-Gamer.

: Hi,

: Once again I presumably ask often asked questions but I might change my motherboard for a better one which doesn't feature ISA port i.e. bye bye SB16 Value :o(

: So I have some "spare" PCI sound card, which one would be best for Mame/Arcadeos in pure DOS mode :
: - SB 64 PCI
: - SB Live player 1024
: - Guillemot Maxi Sound Fortissimo

: And first of all, how may I install a SB PCI with DOs as no DOS drivers are available ?

: Links or advices greatly appreciated.

: P.S: I tried running Mame/Arcadeos on an Athlon 800 Mhz with 256Mo RAM and even MK, MK2 and MK3 were running full speed without frame skip ! Same for biggest Neo Geo games ! Wish I owned one of these rockin' CPU !!!

: TIA
