If you download files on a PC other than the one in your emulator cabinet, you may find this useful. You can connect two PCs together using INTERSVR and INTERLNK for the purpose of copying files between the two. This site explains it pretty well:
http://www.rosebusiness.com/linkup.html

The PC running INTERSVR (Server) must be DOS 3.3 or higher and the PC running INTERLNK (Client) must be DOS 6.2 or higher. If you have Windows 95,98 or 2000, you can run INTERLNK on that one and use the Windows interface for copying files. Otherwise you'll be using DOS command-line.

You can connect the parallel or serial ports. The parallel ports are faster. You can use a parallel cable with DB25 plugs at either end for your PCs. You will need to make an adaptor that switches the pin outs as described at the above site.

I got my parallel cable at:
http://www.cablesnmor.com/printer.html
and with the adaptor it works great.
Search the net for INTERSVR and INTERLNK if you need more info - your application might be different than mine.
