Yeah I took a look, thanks for the link but as I said - I'm well aware of how it all works, I'm just trying to find a decent 'old' keyboard (old meaning hopefully non blocking), so I can throw some diodes into the mix and have a nice flexible configuration. I ruled out messing about with a blocking keyboard ages ago due to having to concoct obscure low-compatability key mappings to get round the blocking problem (or solution as it was intended to be). If I did that, I may as well just buy a I-PAC and be done with it.
So (trying to avoid sounding ungrateful) has anyone had any luck finding old suitable keyboards? The reason I'm looking is simply - if people have wired in diodes (whether they fully understood the underlying mechanics of it or not) and its solved the ghosting/masking problem, (in fact if they even had it in the first place) then they were clearly using a pre blocking keyboard.
Signing off now ... (and fully expecting to be misunderstood and bombarded with explanations of ghosting/masking/blocking)
