: For those of us who do not have the "recompiling" software/utilities on their computers, what is needed (Compiler? Drivers, etc. etc.)?

: Also, what are the instructions (step-by-step) to do this "recompiling". I'm asking this because people are posting step-by-steps on what to modify, and where, and finish with "then just recompile!"

: For us programming-unfriendly, what EXACTLY does that mean?

: Thanks!

Compiling means converting the program from its human readable form to actual machine code that the computer can run.
