It came from a Tetris-converted phoenix. It certainly played tetris, since it has slight burn.

As an aside- I can still see whats going on on my monitor, even though I have switched to NTSC mode. Should this be possible? My test monitor is an older NEC Multisync, and I had heard that these sometimes could sync to NTSC, but If I shouldn't be able to see it, then I've probably just got an output resolution issue related to my own stupidity.

Thanks for continuing to offer suggestions. Its really helping the troubleshooting process.

: It could be a medium-res monitor. I don't know of any way to tell for sure other than documentation. What game did this monitor come from?

: Tim

: : I had tried that already, as well. I'll have to take a closer look at the pinouts- maybe there is another connector that I'm missing. As far as I'm aware at this point, my pinout is

: : 1-R
: : 2-G
: : 3-B
: : 4-Sync
: : 5-Ground

: : My monitor is a 19" Toei manufactured in '81. If ANYBODY has one of these, I'd like to hear it- It would make me feel better if there's someone out there who is also looking for Cap Kits, Manuals, Schematics, etc. for this thing. Unfortunately, it looks like Toei quit making/supporting monitors quite some time ago, and their website is entirely Japanese (and I ain't).
