Happ 4-way/8-way joysticks

Just a quick question - on Happ joysticks can the 4-way actuator still work diagonals?

I recall previous posts that involve flipping the 8-way actuator over, but I am talking whether the round actuator will still do 8-way???

Any help would be great.
