Why not just compile your own version? You don't have to buy anything to do it, and it isn't really that hard (if you follow the direction on the main MAME web page). If you have no programming experiance you may need help modifying the .c files (people are really helpfull with this). You can take out the warnings, OK, etc to your own preferences.

You can then compile your own AdvanceMAME as well :).

If you want to compile your own MAME32, you will need to buy MS Visual C++ for ~100 USD.

Personally, I like to keep at least one semi-recent compile of MAME, AdvanceMAME, and MAME32 with the newer NEO-GEO testdriver games enabled and the Hacks from Jerky's page included.
