Try going to KLOV (www.klov.com) - they have a substantial amount of information on hundreds, if not thousands of games... that may help with the JAMMA part of your question...

As for the controls... there are basically 2 ways (that I see anyway) to do this, the easiest probably is to follow the excellent PC2JAMMA project instructions (www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma) although I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that doing it this way you will be limited to using only the controls on your cabinet (ie you won't be able to wire up a trackball or extra buttons etc without a good deal of extra wiring)...

The OTHER way is to do what Russ Prince (www.russprince.com/cabinet) did and wire the PC and JAMMA up as separate 'entities' with a switch to select which 'platform' to control (this is the route I'm taking btw, since it appears to allow a wide customization of controls)...

Questions, comments anyone?

: Ok, if this post seems idiotic, it probably is. Here goes.

: I'm trying to buy a used arcade game from a local arcade so I can wire my PC to work with it. (Yes, it'll still use the arcade PCB's..) Only thing is, I need the game to be in a JAMMA cab. The game I'm looking at now is "X-Men Vs. Streetfighter" and I'm not sure what it is. The operator hasn't a clue and the namco website which sponsors them says it's a converted game. I think that means it's a JAMMA one, but I'm not sure, so I'm asking. How can I tell?

: Also, what kind of hell can I expect for the wiring of the extra buttons.
