: Ok, if this post seems idiotic, it probably is. Here goes.

: I'm trying to buy a used arcade game from a local arcade so I can wire my PC to work with it. (Yes, it'll still use the arcade PCB's..) Only thing is, I need the game to be in a JAMMA cab. The game I'm looking at now is "X-Men Vs. Streetfighter" and I'm not sure what it is. The operator hasn't a clue and the namco website which sponsors them says it's a converted game. I think that means it's a JAMMA one, but I'm not sure, so I'm asking. How can I tell?

: Also, what kind of hell can I expect for the wiring of the extra buttons.

If you take a look at :
http://cs.slu.edu/~chunge/cps2.html

..that would seem to be right. Basically X-Men vs SF, as with all CPS2 games are JAMMA compatible boards and cabs, but with a custom connector for the extra fire buttons that are beyond the JAMMA spec.

Chris.
