Fastest Mouse driver for DOS!

I found that microsoft MOUSE.SYS version 6.24 is the smallest and fastest mouse driver to use with Mame. It seems to have a problem displaying the pointer correctly in dos programs like Edit.exe, but works perfect for Mame. It only takes 10k of DOS mem and can be loaded high.
