I use this MAME DOS, so I am guessing on MAME32, also I don't have MAME in front of me so I can't be sure of the commands.

Run a game. Click Tab and select inputs (general). Look for something like UI select that is mapped to the ENTER key. Change it to whatever the IPAC uses for P2 Button 8 (L, I think). Actually, you can change it to "L OR Enter". Run MAME32 and see if L allows you to start the game.

If this does not work, E-Mail Andy Warne of the I-PAC fast. He may have a solution for this. If not I saw a post further down that he was working on a programmable version of the I-PAC. I don't know how far along he is, because I know he's been working on the Opti-Pac plus. If he hasn't shipped your board yet, I'm sure he can work something out with you. He's been great in all my dealings with him, and I haven't even bought anything from him yet.

BTW, the LP-24 is closer to the I-PAC and $40 less than the I-PAC.

Hope this helps.
