: 1. The 3 prongs on the button are:
: Ground, Normally Open, Normally Closed

: If you use Ground and Normally Open (NO), you will get the desired results.

So, does this mean that of the three terminals I will use only two of them and leave one untouched? If that is the case, how do I tell which is which?

: 2. I personally chose to daisy chain the ground wires from one control to the next. Some people advise against it - I've never had any problems and it saves you a lot of work!

I think I'd like to go with individual ground wires simply because my lack of knowledge of electronics would make troubleshooting problems easier if there is only one point of failure for each control.

: 3. I ran all of my wiring on the CP to a DB 25, just like you have on a printer cable. It works great, is in expensive, and handles 24 inputs + 1 ground. I have 3 CP's and each is done this same way - when I change panels, I unplug it and plug in the next. If you use Molex, you are stuck with using multiple connectors.

Since I am going with the KE72 I would have more than 24 inputs. I assume the IDE cable is 72 pin and by going with the IDE solution I would achieve the same results?
