I found an alternate solution that doesn't require any soldering or circuits that you have to build.

It works great for me. See my link below for the details.

Basically, after ARCMON.SYS is loaded in the CONFIG.SYS, the monitor can be turned on as the first command in the AUTOEXEC.BAT. As soon as I exit ArcadeOS the next command in AUTOEXEC.BAT is the monitor off command.

I also have an ATX motherboard so the last command powers off the motherboard.

So I have a single button on my panel that powers on the motherboard, which then controls the monitor. When I exit ArcadeOS it powers everything down.
