My experience in painting has been that a foam roller or spray paint will give you the smoothest coat. First though you have to sand down to a really smooth surface starting with course sand paper and moving to fine sand paper. Then a primer then paint. I have heard that a real paint sprayer works the best, but I don't have access to one personally. The paint I used was exterior high gloss black I think it was Behr. Ask the guys at home depot or other hardware store what you want and they can help.

: If so, what kind of paint did you find to be best, or what would you suggest? Which method: spray paint, roller, brush? I am getting another cab that I want to paint, but I have never attempted this before. Any help would be appreciated.
