Degaussing is not built in to the monitor so you would need a seperate degaussing coil.

Personally, I don't see a need to rotate. I'm perfectly pleased with the monitor as it is, even with vertical games.

As for the resolution - I was concerned about this too. I didn't want to be locked into 320x200, 640x480 and 800x600. I have a generic onboard video card that does only a few odd resolutions. The monitor seems to handle them with out any problems....I think I did like 256x256 and 300x256 (something like that).

I run smash tv at 800x600 and it fills the screen. Also, all of the williams games and vector (of course) are in my opinion the best. The NeoGeo games work well on the monitor too.
