Just get a straight bit. It will allow you to set the depth on your router and route out the unwanted wood. It works great and cuts like butter.
: What router bit(s) do I need to countersink my trackball plate and my joysticks? I want my trackball plate flush with my control panel so I need to cut a groove out of the panel. I also want my joysticks to stick up high enough to be usable so I'd like to cut a slot out for them as well.
: Hopefully everyone knows what I'm talking about. I've got 3/4" particle board and I'd like to make about a 3/8" cutout in the particle board to set my joystick in to make the shaft taller.
: Been pondering this one for a while and I'm gonna be buying the bits in a week or so. Thanks!
