OK. First of all, thanks to everyone for helping so much. I have made great progress with my first MAME controller panel, thanks to you!
I filmed it with my camera, and here is the link for you to watch what I've done so far. (Also, below is a render of what it is supposed to look like when I finish it)

This is WIP of course. I still need to sand off all the edges/joints, and paint all the wood black. Also add the other joystick :)
