One major difference. When you use bat or ball joys you grip them at the top but with one of these you'd have to grip on the side, like a flight stick.

: Thanks for the comment Fultra. I am just a month or 2 from ordering my spinners from you.

: : That will work fine and is not a bad option. It allows you to get much more functionality from one CP w/out cluttering it up.

: : : I am thinking of getting the HAPPs Fire Button Compact Joystick for $25 and replace the right ultimate joystick on my control panel with this one. I should be able to still use this stick as a regular 8 way stick for games like robotron, 2 player simultaneous Tetris, etc, right?. And I would have the added benefit of being able to use it as the right track in battlezone with the fire button on the stick. I could also use it for a makeshift tron stick with a fire button. I am sure there are others.

: : : Has anybody done this or does anyone have any comments? How does it feel using a Fire Button Compact Joystick for games that usually have a bat handle or ball handle joystick?

: : : Thanks.
