Extended/Programmable Input Controller from R&R Electronics

Choose Interfaces on saint's Table of Contents, and then look under the 'Other' entry.
It is basicly a keyboard encoder/joystick emulator that supports 16 analog inputs, and 304+ digital inputs. Add on modules supply rotary inputs, more ditigal inputs, 7 segment outputs, and soon a millivolt guage output.
If I added direct MAME/Allegro support it could feed analog joystick values without the usual delay, and you could read up to 256 digital inputs without routing through the keyboard port.

: Sorry to sound ignorant, but I didn't know if that was a common acronym that I didn't recognize, or something that I really don't use?
