If the resistance is too high, it may take extra CPU cycles to read it's position. (Digital inputs are really the way to go.)
: Since doing my gamepad hack, I've found that a number of games in Mame slow waaay down when the joystick is enabled (e.g. Xain'd Sleena, Metal Slug, Defender and others).
: I'm going to order an IPAC anyway as soon as Andy gets back from holiday, but until then, does anybody know what might be causing the slow-down and whether there's a simple fix?
