ATX and AT refer to the power supply connector they use. Most new cases use an ATX power supply.
As for motherboard, I am looking more to the Abit KT7-Raid. While the Asus A7V does look like a nice motherboard, it doesn't have any ISA slots and I really do need one for a card I have.
