I'm running an Athlon 750mhz with a ASUS K7M Mobo and have never had ONE problem. When it comes to cost and performance Intel can't even come close. I am very happy with the combo I have. So far every game I've tried (Arcade or NeoGeo) has worked flawlessly. Soon I'll be putting up a site with the documentation that I've been collecting/creating along the way. I would totaly recomend AMD for any MAME box. My 2 cents worth.
