You are still using the same # of joysticks/buttons/etc. The only add'l cost is the piece of wood for the CP itself which is no more than $5 per panel. So, I don't see where this is cost prohibitive.
: This is my first panel, and although the interchangeable functionality would be cool, it adds a lot to cost/time.
: Once I get this one right, I think I will buy more parts and make a bigger panel altogether, possibly with modular design.
