Sounds like you have a K7400. Nice monitor. (I don't think there is a K7900.) I managed to find a manual for a K7000 and a K4900, and the inputs were very much alike. I can email them to you (or you could buy one for your specific model from WG for $6-$10).

Also, I found out that ArcadeOS programs negative sync output.

After my reading, I'd say that you CAN twist them together. According to the great Randy Fromm:

"IN SOME CASES, THERE IS A SEPARATE CONNECTION FOR BOTH THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL SYNC. MOST OF THE TIME, THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL SYNC SIGNALS ARE COMBINED AT THE COMPUTER TO FORM SOMETHING CALLED 'COMPOSITE SYNC'."

My model apparently gives me the option, but the end result is the same.
