Sis6326 Card Install Problem

I have a HP 6630 with onboard video. I have tried a couple of different PCI cards and they seem to work fine. It makes the PCI card primary and works fine.

Now I'm trying to use a SIS6326 card. I've tried two different brands. The computer recognizes it as a video card, and I get the initial HP logo screen when it boots, but then it locks up.

I tried to force it into the CMOS setup (F1 at boot) but it starts to load and locks up.

It only seems to be the SIS6326 cards. Anybody have any idea what the conflict might be? I've loaded the latest BIOS thinking that might be the problem.

Nothing seems to wotk.
