If you bought one at radio shack, I assume it is the "pencil" style iron. You can buy smaller tips for those models easily there too. The tip that comes on it, is small, but not the smallest. I have worked on Playstation boards with it, with no problems. The tips can be bought for about a dollar or two. Try using the small silver solder... make sure the tip is "seasoned" well, and with a steady hand it should do the job. If that's still too big... you can try some of the Weller irons, from Happs... but the good ones cost the coin.
: Anybody know where to find a very small solding iron. I guess I'm not too good at solding, becuse I always seem to ruin one or two buttons on the gamepad. I bought the smallest one Radio Shack had.
