I just started to build a Cabinet. Started with the interface. Last couple of nights I did A keyboard hack. Seems to be working ok. Tested it with keyhook. On my normal keyboard (no hacks involved). Lets say I press Keys X,C and V all good then I press T the pc starts bleeping. I would guess this is ghosting? So I go to word pad hold down x (x's across the screen), still holding down x I hold down c, x stop and c start running across the screen, still holding down x and c I hold down v, c stop and v's running across the screen, holding down x, c, v and now t everything stops and pc starts bleeping. I guess this is ghosting? Ok now I try this same think by touching wires using the key board hack. With the same results. Now I put a diode in series with the t. Try the diode in bolth directions. Same results. If the diode thing works. I would think that the v would stop and the t would start running across word pad. The diodes I'm using are 1n914. What am I doing wrong here? How do I know forshure what direction the diodes go in?
