The U3100 does not need an isolation transformer. The parts you need are listed on the Happ Controls page for this monitor.

: Most arcade monitors have pretty standard connectors for power and video. The power connector comes with the monitor and should plug into the existing one on your cabinet. It might not match, though, in which case you can either buy a new crimp-style, two contact connector from anywhere and replace it, or just strip, splice and cover with electrical tape (not so easy to take the monitor out then, of course).

: Make sure you use an isolation transformer. :-) (can't say it enough after connecting a monitor without one once by ignorance and once by mistake. Poof! Poof!).

: The video connectors are the same type for most monitors -- 156" spacing molex connectors, but the pinouts vary. The U3100 may come with a cable with a connector for the monitor on one end and loose wires on the other, but I dunno for sure. Some arcade monitors I've bought come with one like that so you would just wire the loose end to a 15 pin VGA style connector to attach to your computer.

: Arcade button micro-switches have metal tabs on them. There's a type of connector that slides onto these tabs that can be bought at any hardware store that carries electical supplies.

: : : Those of you who have the 19" WG U3100 monitor, what are the dimensions? Just want to make sure it's going to fit in my Xenophobe cabinet.

: : : Also, I know that you need to get the 3 connectors and and the adapter, but what does that connect to? Just a standard monitor power cable?

: : : What about the VGA input, is that just a standard VGA cable as well?

: : : Thanks for info.

: : I am ordering this monitor also and was not
: : aware of any accessories that you need with it.
: : Can someone who has one please list what you need
: : besdies the monitor it self. Power connectors or
: : what? Also when connecting your arcade buttons
: : did you order special wires with a head to connect
: : to the micro-swithces? Or did you just use regular
: : electrical wire and kind of wrap it around the
: : micro-switch. Any help is appreciated :-)
